I'm Siân, the founder and sole artisan behind Blossom & Bluebird. From my quiet studio in the East Sussex countryside, I create dreamy, hand-crafted wedding veils for stylish brides all over the world.
Since 2016, thousands of global brides have trusted me with their most precious bridal accessory. My aesthetic is rooted in effortless romance - soft, timeless, and designed to make you feel like the most radiant version of yourself.
The Art of the Hand-Stitched Veil
In a world of mass production, I choose a different path. I run Blossom & Bluebird as a solo studio so that I can personally oversee every single detail of your order. From our very first message to the moment I hand-select your luxury tulle and lace, you are communicating directly with the maker who is creating your heirloom piece.
Most importantly, every Blossom & Bluebird veil is crafted entirely by hand. I choose to work without a sewing machine, preferring the traditional precision that only a needle and thread can provide. I adore the intricacy of hand-sewing; it allows for a delicacy and a flawless finish that machines simply cannot replicate. Because I hand-cut and hand-stitch every veil, so much love and intention goes into the making.
Every piece in my studio is a labour of love. My process is inherently "slow fashion" - where lace is hand-placed to flow seamlessly around the curve of a mantilla veil, and crystals are positioned one by one to catch the light. This artisan approach ensures that no two veils are exactly alike, giving you a bespoke heirloom that is truly your own.
Intimate, Bespoke & Heartfelt
I purposely keep my studio small so that I can give every bride the time, care, and attention I would want to receive myself. Choosing a wedding veil is a rare and special event, and I want you to remember the experience as fondly as the day itself.
I work with only the finest materials; gossamer-light French silks, spectacular Chantilly laces, and ethereal English tulles. Whether you are dreaming of a vintage-style Juliet cap veil, a draped veil with scattered 3D blooms and petals, or a dramatic cathedral-length wedding veil, it is my privilege to hand-craft it especially for you.
