The time I need to prepare an order for shipping varies. For details, see 'Production Times' and 'Shipping Information' below.

PRODUCTION TIMES:
I make every item myself especially for you. The time it will take me to make your veil varies throughout the year, depending on the volume of orders I have. Go here for my current production times.

Orders are sent on a first ordered, first made and shipped basis, unless you purchase the 'Rush Order' option alongside your veil.

RUSH ORDERS:
If you need to receive your veil quickly, purchasing the Rush Order listing will put your order to the front of my order queue, and will upgrade your shipping to a much faster shipping method.

SHIPPING INFORMATION:
Your veil will be made to order (see current production times via the link above), and will then be shipped to you.

I send your veil to the shipping address on your order - please ensure your shipping address is correct. I am not responsible for undelivered parcels where the shipping address on the order is incorrect. If a parcel is returned to me undelivered due to an incorrect address, you would need to pay the outward shipping costs again to have the item re-sent - no refund would be given.

UK SHIPPING:
I send my veils via Royal Mail "Tracked 48 with signature", which takes approximately 2 working days. It's a fully tracked service with options to change your delivery options while the parcel is in transit, and a signature is required on delivery.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING:
I send my veils via Royal Mail International Tracked and Signed for most orders, which takes approximately 3 - 5 working days to Europe and 5 - 7 working days to most other countries including the USA and Canada. A signature will be required on delivery.

Orders being sent to Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, China, Hong Kong, Japan are sent EITHER Royal Mail International Tracked OR Royal Mail International Signed, and can take a little longer, up to 2 weeks (I will ask you which mail service you would prefer).

IMPORTANT - I cannot guarantee delivery times unless you contact me for expedited shipping (I use Royal Mail Special Delivery, UPS, DPD and FedEx for brides who are in a hurry), and this is at additional cost - please contact me for more info.

Fabric samples take 2-3 working days to be prepared and are then sent to UK customers via Royal Mail 2nd Class, taking approximately 2 days; and via Royal Mail standard airmail to all other countries, which takes between 3 working days to 1-2 weeks, depending on your location. In rare cases the samples may take up to a month to arrive. If you're overseas and you want your samples sent via a tracked method, please contact me for a custom listing, because tracking for samples costs substantially more than the standard untracked airmail.

CUSTOMS CHARGES:

All orders are shipped with the real value declared on the customs form. The importing country may charge the buyer customs duties and taxes, which must be paid by the buyer and are not the seller's responsibility.

In the event that the buyer refuses to pay the customs duties, the importing country will destroy the shipment and no refund will be given.

I am not responsible for any unforeseen delays due to Customs holding your parcel for longer than is usual. Delays at Customs are out of my control, so please ensure you allow extra time when you order your item. No refund would be given in the event of your veil arriving late due to Customs holding your parcel.

CANCELLATIONS:
Your may cancel your order for a full refund within 6 hours of purchase. After this time, materials will be ordered and a cancellation won't be possible.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES:
If you've purchased a standard veil (ie not a Custom Order) from my shop, and it isn't right for any reason, you can return it to the address at the bottom of the page. You must tell me you're going to be returning your item within 3 days of receipt of the parcel, and send it back within 7 days of receipt of the parcel (exceptions can be made by prior request).

All my veils are personalised with the bride's own choice of comb, and despite the personalisation these are all still considered standard orders so they are returnable, except for the items listed below.

The following items are non-returnable, so are final sale:

~ CUSTOM ORDERS - these are one off, unique veils created especially for you ie they are not one of the veil styles available to buy on my website, so they are non-returnable.

~ VEILS PURCHASED WITH THE "ADD A BLUSHER" LISTING - these veils are considered custom orders, as they are a standard style that's been modified on request.

~ "PURE FRENCH SILK TULLE" VEILS - I buy the silk tulle at considerable cost for each veil when the order is received, and I cannot send the fabric back once I have made your veil. As these veils cannot be returned or exchanged, please ensure you order fabric samples and choose the colour carefully.

~ LACE EDGED VEILS cannot be returned or exchanged, due to their intricate nature and the time they take to hand-sew for each bride.

~ JULIET CAP VEILS cannot be returned or exchanged, as they are made according to your own head size via a measurement provided by you after purchase.

Please do not send your veil back to me without first contacting me to inform me that you would like a return or an exchange.

When I receive your veil in perfect condition in its original packaging, I will send you a refund of the purchase price (excluding the 'Rush Order' fee if applicable), or make you a replacement. Any replacement veil is subject to the standard processing time (see the Current Production Times page), unless you purchase the 'Rush Order' listing for your replacement veil.

In the unlikely event that your veil arrives damaged, please contact me immediately with photos of the outer and inner packaging, and with photos of the item, so I can help.

BUYERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL RETURN SHIPPING COSTS (AND THE COST OF SHIPPING THE REPLACEMENT ITEM, IF APPLICABLE).

The buyer must send the return via a trackable method, with the seller's signature required on delivery.

I do not accept liability for returns that are lost in transit during shipping, or that are damaged by the carrier in the process of being returned.

International duties or taxes originally paid by the buyer are not refunded.

No returns are accepted after the date of your wedding has passed.
