I find so much joy in bringing a bride's unique vision to life. As I hand-stitch every piece myself here in the Blossom & Bluebird studio, my capacity for bespoke commissions is very exclusive.

I typically only accept one or two custom orders each month, to ensure every veil receives my undivided attention and care. While my calendar often fills up several months in advance, I would love to hear your ideas. Wondering about the investment for a bespoke creation? A great way to gauge the price range is to explore my Shop for styles that mirror your vision. Looking at the prices for your desired length will give you a clear 'ballpark' figure, as my bespoke quotes are thoughtfully aligned with the craftsmanship of my signature veils.

Starting the Process ~ Inspiration & Samples

There is no upfront cost for the design and "ideas" phase of our journey together. The only initial cost will be for your curated fabric samples, should you wish to compare different tulles or laces against your gown in person.

To begin crafting your bespoke piece, please share your initial thoughts and any inspiration photos you've gathered. Tell me about your gown and the overall atmosphere you're creating for your wedding; these details allow me to tailor a veil that perfectly complements your bridal silhouette.

Your Bespoke Vision Checklist

To help me create a piece that flawlessly complements your look, please share:

~ The Dress: A photo of your gown (front and back) so we can match the lace, embroidery, or silk tones

~ The Silhouette: Are you dreaming of a dramatic cathedral length mantilla, a chic fingertip length drop veil, or a romantic floor-length draped veil?

~ The Details: Tell me about any specific elements you'd love - think delicate embellishments, scattered 3-dimensional flowers, or a clean, raw edge.

~ The Hairstyle: How do you plan to wear your hair? (This helps me determine the best comb placement and weight for the veil).

~ The "Vibe": Share 3–5 words that describe your wedding day (e.g., Modern Minimalist, Moody Victorian, or Secret Garden).

~ The Mood Board: Feel free to attach a link to your Pinterest board or any screenshots that make your heart skip a beat.

A Personal Styling Service:

To help you visualise which lace edgings and motifs will complement your dress perfectly, I can curate a private Pinterest board specifically for you. From there, we can select your favourites to be sent as physical samples.

Bringing Your Vision to Life

The Design: Once you’ve decided on the touches that feel most magical to you, I’ll confirm your personal quote and set up a private, custom shop link for your order.

The Creation: After payment is received, I personally source your specific fabrics and begin hand-stitching your one-of-a-kind piece.

The Handcrafting Process

Every Blossom & Bluebird veil is meticulously handcrafted by me in my studio. Each stitch is placed with intention; as I work with needle and thread to hand-finish every detail, please allow a few weeks for your veil to be created. You can view my current creation times here.

A Note on Originality: To honour the spirit of independent design, I do not accept requests to replicate the work of other designers. Each bespoke piece is a unique collaboration between your vision and my signature hand-stitched style.

Receiving Your Bespoke Veil

This is the most magical part! Once your veil is ready, it will be nestled into my signature luxury packaging, designed to keep your heirloom safe and beautiful.

Complimentary tracked delivery is included with every bespoke order. If you’re dreaming of an even speedier arrival, you’ll have the option to upgrade to Express Shipping when I send over your order confirmation.

A Note on Embroidery

As a solo artisan, I personally hand-make every single order that leaves my studio. To ensure I can maintain the highest level of craftsmanship for both my bespoke brides and my signature collections, I am currently unable to offer custom embroidery.

However, I am always happy to tuck a complimentary tulle sample into your parcel. This allows you to work with a specialist seamstress to add your own personal embroidery or monograms after your veil arrives.

Due to their highly personalised nature, all bespoke commissions are Final Sale. As these are one-off pieces created specifically for you, I am unable to accept returns or exchanges on custom orders.
