~ Ordering a Custom Wedding Veil

I adore making custom (bespoke) wedding veils, which are unique styles made individually for you to your own specifications.

Availability

As I run Blossom & Bluebird on my own, my spaces for custom veils are limited - I can usually only make one or two each month, alongside all the orders I receive for the standard veil styles on my website. My spaces for custom orders often get booked up in advance, but please do contact me with details/photos/information about what you're looking for, and I'll tell you if I can help! 

Starting the Process ~ Inspiration & Samples

There's no deposit needed - simply send me information about what kind of veil you're thinking of, along with any inspiration pics and relevant info about your wedding dress, your aesthetic for your big day, and the overall vibe you're going for.

If you're looking for a lace edge or lace motif/appliqué veil, I can then compile a private picture board for you to look at various lace edging options. From there, you can let me know if you'd like to order samples of any of the lace trims.

When I send your lace samples I'll include various tulle samples as well, so you can see and feel them, and decide which you like best.

Once I know which lace edging(s) you like best, what style, and what kind of veil length you'd like, I'll be able to give you some quotes so you have an idea of the cost. You can get a vague idea of prices from looking at the lace edged veils section on my website; exact prices depend on the lace used, as lace trims vary in price depending on style and width.

Placing your Custom Order

If you decide to go ahead, I'll then create a custom listing for you to place your order. Payment is required in full at this point by following the link in your custom listing which takes you to my website (paying via card or PayPal), and then your order is confirmed. From there it'll take me a number of weeks to make your veil - see my current production times.

Receiving your Bespoke Wedding Veil

The most exciting part! Once I've made your veil, it'll be sent out in my beautiful, luxurious, protective packaging, free of charge, via a tracked and signed for method. You'll have the option to upgrade to an express method of postage when I send your order confirmation, if you'd like to.

Veil Embroidery

I'm currently unable to offer veil embroidery at the present time - I run Blossom & Bluebird as a solo bridal artisan and receive lots of orders for the standard styles on my website, which means that my time is very limited for custom orders.

I'm always happy to enclose a large sample of tulle with your veil for an embroidery test, so that you can have a seamstress embroider your veil after purchase if you wish. 🩷
