FABRIC SAMPLES

Bring the Blossom & Bluebird studio to your front door. Select your preferred tulle types and shades to receive hand-cut samples. I highly recommend seeing the fabrics against your wedding gown in natural light, before making your final veil selection.

Select from the drop down box named 'Fabric & Colour' to choose the samples you'd like to receive, and add each sample to your basket.

(If you're looking at a specific lace edge veil, go here to order your samples via the veil style name - you'll receive a sample of the lace and the available tulle colours for that veil, within your sample pack).

~DELIVERY TIME~

Your samples will be hand-cut and sent out within 2-3 working days, posted via Royal Mail 2nd Class if you're in the UK (approximately 2 working days).

If you are in Europe or further afield, the samples will ship via standard airmail (no tracking) and should take 1-2 weeks to reach you, but may in very rare cases take up to one month to arrive.

All samples are sent by standard postage without tracking to keep costs down for brides, because tracking is very expensive. If you would like tracking, please contact me and I'll create a custom listing for you.

• SOFT ENGLISH TULLE

An incredibly soft, draping silk-style tulle, fluid and airy, similar to pure silk tulle. When you're standing still, it falls straight downwards, and when you move it flows around you. Fairly crease-resistant compared to most other tulles! It has a hexagonal construction, and is also known as English Net. Absolutely stunning!

• ULTRASOFT ILLUSION TULLE

A very soft, extremely lightweight and sheer English tulle with a fine diamond-shaped construction.

• ITALIAN SILK-STYLE TULLE

A soft and drapey, luxurious tulle with a silky feel, like being enveloped in a soft cloud.
~ Pale Ivory, Champagne Cream

• FINE ENGLISH TULLE

A gorgeous tulle with more structure and body than the soft tulle. Very sheer, beautiful and lightweight. When you're standing still it flares outwards a little, and when you move it holds its shape around you. It has a hexagonal construction, and gives a more voluminous effect to your veil than the soft tulles.

• POINT D'ESPRIT

A soft and drapey dotted tulle with a pattern of oval dots woven into it, 1.5 to 2cm apart.
~ Pale Ivory (if you're looking for a different colour please contact me)

• ITALIAN SPOTTED TULLE

A stunning flocked polka dot tulle from Lake Como in Italy. This tulle has some body to it, and gives a retro feel to your veil. Comes in widths of 60"/150cm, so can only be used for narrower veils.
~ Ivory, White

• SOFT PURE FRENCH SILK TULLE 

An exquisitely soft 100% pure silk tulle manufactured in France, the same tulle as was used for Kate Middleton's veil. This is the most luxurious choice of fabric for veils and feels incredible against your skin. Nothing flows and drapes as beautifully as this fabric! Comes in widths of around 64", so can only be used for narrower veils.

• FIRM PURE FRENCH SILK TULLE 

An absolutely stunning ivory 100% pure silk tulle manufactured in France, with more structure and body than the soft silk tulle. This silk tulle gives the same voluminous effect as the tulle that Meghan Markle's veil was made of. Comes in wide widths, so can be used for narrow veils through to very dramatic, full veils.
~ Ivory only

• SOFT ITALIAN TULLE

A soft tulle with a nice drape, available in a wide variety of colours. Comes in maximum widths of around 56"/140cm, so can only be used for narrower veils.
~ Champagne, Blush, Pale Pink, Shell Pink, Rose, Coral, Lavender, Mink, Silver Grey, Gunmetal, Aqua, Mint

• FINE ILLUSION TULLE 

A fine, transparent tulle, with more body and structure than the silky soft tulles. Similar to the Fine English Tulle, but with a diamond-shaped construction.
~ There are currently no veils listed in my shop that are made of this fabric, but it's available for a custom veil.
~ Pure White, Soft White, Ivory, Deep Ivory, Champagne

• PEARL TULLE 

A soft, drapey tulle embellished with hundreds of small pearls. The pearls are attached via small silver clasps at the back of the fabric. Such a chic, modern and fresh veil fabric choice!
